My interest in photography started at a young age when my grandfather would visit and we would go on these long early morning walks to discover the world through the lens of his Rolliflex. He would show me the magical, early morning light with new eyes, those same eyes that continue to appreciate the world every day. This began my photographic journey; I have always loved seeing the world through the eyes of a photographer, noticing light with its interplay of shadow and color, form and dimension, appreciating the unconventional, the beauty of this world and its people and cultures.
I studied photography at Art Center College of Design, where my passion for photography was aided by rigorous technical training. My interest in fashion started in Milan, then Paris, and finally New York where I have lived for the last 20 years. I love the excitement of collaboration, of realizing something beautiful from an idea and of working with a great team. It’s challenging, exciting and always fun.
